We had a brilliant time over New Year in Hameau du Glacier. Snow excellent and good to see the development of the village since the summer.
However I had visitors arriving and departing on various days and therefore had made made several requests to Reception via email and in person for our apartment to be cleaned and serviced on Mon 2nd January instead of Sat 31st Dec. (We had booked it for two weeks). I was assured that there was not a problem....and it was not done on 31st but not on 2nd either. I had to get extremely assertive before any action was finally taken at approximately 8.30 pm on Monday. It seems that communication within HMC is still a problem. They were however apologetic the next day and tried to put the matter right. Perhaps our meeting in London did send out a message or two?
