The Best Holiday!!!

**This is what I think**:

Winter Holidays- 2005

Me and my family decided to take a trip off to Les Arcs 1950, Auberge Jerome from Dubai U.A.E for the first time.

 I admit it, living in a hot country doesn't turn you into a 'Monsuier Intermediate' in skiiing during the winter, so, this was going to be my  ( And my: Mums and two brothers first time aswell, my bro's are 12 and 18 years old)

Looking at the pictures of the site where we were 'supposedly' going to ski at the time, they wern't all great shakes, this was the summer 2004.

When we first got there, we had an very warmly welcome. We sat by the roaring fireplace, and it much felt like we had been here before. The staff all had smiles on their faces at seeing yet another family move in to 'their' abode.

We soon learnt that the staff were like this everyday!! grin The next ten days flew past so quickly! We soon learnt (Under the wing of an experienced Teacher) what the basics of skiing were.

Everyday was AMAZING!!! We could just go down to the lockers, get our skis on, open a door and there you are on snow. Although some of the restaurants were limited in food choice, there was one place in the village called 'Chateau Luigi's 'which was brillliant (We personally recommend the hot chocolate and mulled wine!) thumb up

So all in all this holiday was:

A) The best in the world (Through the eyes of a teenager)

B) The best in the world (Through the eyes of a whole entire family)

Hope that whoever is planning for a skiing paradise comes here because they have pistes for beginners AND  experts!! And the atmosphere is soo like you have been there for your whole life

and the best bit is..................is that is keeps on getting better!!tongue
