How to Include Images in Posts
We have limited space to store images on the site, but here's a way that gives you as much storage space as you could need.
- Set up a free account at Photobucket by clicking the link below:
- Choose your digital picture, or if necessary scan your paper document / photo / newspaper cutting, and save it as a JPEG image.
- Upload it to Photobucket. You'll see something like this page:
- Copy the "Tag" link (the middle one of the three) to the clipboard (using Edit-Copy on the menu, or Ctrl-C)
- Write your posting as normal.
- If you are using the "Kupu" editor (the default setup), you need to switch to the "HTML code" view by clicking the "View Source" icon:
- Click the mouse where you want the image to appear and paste the link from the clipboard (using Edit-Paste on the menu, or Ctrl-V). You can then return to the normal view by clicking the icon again. Resize the picture if necessary, and save the posting.
- And that's it. I promise you it takes much longer to describe it than to do it! Good luck.
