Buried treasure? no, buried tranceivers, which are possibly worth a lot more, are being installed at the top of the Transarc, so that we can practice our search and rescue techniques.
In light of the tragic news today of a death above 1950, I searched out this older news item, and brought to the top, with a new English hyper-link:



Before going off-piste, you might like to check out that you can (a) use the equipment and (b) find your friends in the event of the unthinkable.

To help, the domain is opening a tranceiver training area, and giving free classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, according to the
