Jim'll fix it!

I know everyone is very grateful to Nigel Campling and Johanne Marois for their sterling service over the last year on the Lodging and Service Committee, set up to improve dialogue between owners, HMC (and Intrawest).

Johanne has kindly stepped in to represent the owners on the Resort Club Committee next year. Nigel was willing to stand again, and Jim Wilks also put his name forward. Intrawest had suggested that owners would be offered a choice between a maximum of five candidates.

In the event there was only one extra candidate, and Intrawest (s)elected the winners for us - commiserations to Nigel! We look forward to welcoming Claude Verhille as a member of this site as soon as we can invite him.

Dear owners,

We wish to thank all the owners who have submitted their candidacy for the Service Lodging Committee. We would, as well, like to convey our appreciation to Johanne Marois and Nigel Campling, for their time and efforts invested last year.

The selection process was easier than expected, therefore removing the necessity for a voting pole. The goal of this Intrawest created committee, as expressed in the candidacy communication, is to continue the spirit of the meetings and give all owners an opportunity to participate. We were therefore looking for two new owners to be part of the committee. The Representatives for the coming year are:

Jim Wilks, owner in Refuge du Montagnard, whom some of you have had the opportunity to meet at the village.

Claude Verhille, owner in Hameau du Glacier, who is now retired and is looking forward to contributing to the improvement of the service levels at HMC.

Both Mr. Wilks and Mr. Verhille, have demonstrated the same enthusiasm and commitment as our previous representatives. Therefore, we are confident that Owners, Intrawest and HMC, will move forward and work together to ensure a shared vision of the lodging service experience at Arc 1950.

The date of the first Service Lodging meeting will be communicated in the New Year.

Have a great ski season.
