Nominations open for a proposed Owners' Association
After a great winter's skiing, various moves between ITW and HMC, and a quiet few months for some of the more active owners, the Owners' Association looks set to fly.
Over the past year or so, much has been made of the idea of formalising our voice within the village. Work has been done on the subject, and proposals made. However, other commitments have meant that some owners closely involved have been distracted. And with the various legal formalities being on ice since late December, there has been concern that nothing much was happening.
A concerted flurry of communications in the last few days has resulted in the work done by Richard, Jim and Fabrice, ably proof read by the Eleanors (A and B), the Andrews (B, M) and Bob, being published on the forum today.
You can both read the proposed constitution, and nominate either yourself or a fellow owner for a board position, via the committee pages hereYou'll see that the emphasis is on the positive and the co-operative, with a view to being representative of the broad spectrum of all owners in the village.
The Articles of Association have been drawn up in accordance with French law, and there are still some minor wrinkles to iron out. But its pretty much there: - have a look, see what you think, and yes, its time to get involved!
